Luis Otero was born on October 19th, 1927, in Henry, Nebraska, to proud parent's Adolph and Antonia C. Otero.
He had eight sibling's. His family began in Las Vegas, New Mexico, San Miguel County, but they migrated to Nebraska shortly before he was born.

Luis lived in Henry and Scottsbluff, Nebraska, then moved to Cheyenne. He was a resident in the area for over 30 years and was a mechanic for Cannon Brother's Ford in Scottsbluff. In addition, he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Luis had a passion for music and enjoyed playing his guitar.

Mr. Otero was preceeded in death by his beloved wife, Ida L. Otero, of Cheyenne. They were married on May 26th, 2001 in Cheyenne. Luis is also survived by two sister's Cecilia Zamora of Levan, Utah, and Mary Apricio of Brighton, Colorado, parent's Adolfo and Antonia C. Otero, and many other sibling's.

The funeral liturgy was at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Reverend Ray Moss as the celebrant. The Pallbearer's were Bob Otero, Eddie Cruz, John Pacheco, Ralph Apricio, Charlie Cox, and Tom Otero. The internment is at the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

May Luis rest is peace for always and know the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Our memories of him will be cherished for always.
