Mrs. Betty Ann (Chapman) Roberts, age 72, of Sparta, passed from this life Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1942 in Davidson County, TN, the daughter of Clifford and Mattie Walker Lockhart Chapman. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, May 13th at North Sparta Church of God with Pastor Steve Gearhart and Bro. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Tuesday May 12th and again Wednesday May 13th from 11am until the time of the service at North Sparta Church of God.

daughter - Connie Michelle Roberts Jolley and husband Michael, Sparta
two sons - Michael Ray Roberts and wife Cindy, Sparta
Larry Wayne Roberts and wife Tina, Sparta
brother - Marion Chapman and wife Pat of St. Petersburg, FL
five grandchildren - Nicholas Roberts , Noah Roberts and Sarah Roberts;
Seth Jolley and Caleb Jolley, all of Sparta
sister-in-law -- Jackie Ann Chapman of Bristol, TN
In addition to her parents, Mrs Roberts was preceded in death by three brothers, Dr. Charles Chapman, Harold Lockhart, Francis Lockhart, Marion Chapman; and one sister, Kay LeCornu.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta is in charge of arrangements.
