Shank, died young; Oscar Clarence Shank, married first Alice Hammerslea and second Flora Wilhide; Cora F. Shank, married Alvin Webster Munson; Amy E. Shank, married first Joseph Minton, second Alfred Minton; Rose Shank, married Harry Schuldes, and Margaret Shank, died in childhood.

Andrew Shank, living near Shady Bower, this county, was found dead in bed Saturday morning by members of his family. On Friday he attended to his worldly duties as usual and when bed time came he was enjoying his accustomed health. His death was likely the result of an attack of apoplexy. Mr Shank was about 60 years old and was a loving husband and kind father. He leaves a wife and the following children; Mrs Amanda McCoy, near Clearspring, Mrs Cora Munson, Hagerstown, Mrs. Amy Minton, Brunswick, Mrs. Alice M Baker, Hagerstown, Miss Rose B Shank, Chicago, Oscar Shank, Hagerstown, Exevarius Shank, near Chewsville.
