Annie Laurie Kittleson was born January 15, 1930 to Gilbert and Anna (Poppe) Kittleson in Lake Belt Township, rural Ceylon, Minnesota. She attended and later was a graduate of Ceylon High School. On September 28, 1952, she was united in marriage to James P. Scholl at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Fairmont, Minnesota. After their marriage they farmed in Lake Belt Township, Ceylon until moving to Monterey in 1957. In 1958 they moved to a farm in Cedar Township, rural Trimont. In 1981 they moved to their present home. Ann was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Sherburn. She greatly enjoyed attending area events and taking pictures of her family. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, watching birds and making memories.
Ann died on Wednesday morning, September 7, 2005 at the Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health Systems in Fairmont, Minnesota at the age of seventy-five years.
Ann is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Denise Scholl of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Scholl of rural Trimont, Minnesota; sons, Steven Scholl and his wife, Kari, of Owatonna, Minnesota and Kent Scholl and his wife, Mary, of Denver, Colorado; ten grandchildren; Benjamin Scholl, Jeffrey Scholl, Chris Hugo, Tyler Scholl, Kaitlyn Scholl, Ethan Scholl, Matt Hugo, Lillian Scholl, Isaac Scholl and Melia Scholl; brothers, Enoch Kittleson of rural Sherburn, Minnesota, Truman Kittleson and his wife, Millie, of rural Sherburn, Minnesota, Ted Kittleson and his wife, Opal, of rural Ceylon, Minnesota, Norman Kittleson and his wife, Pennie, of rural Sherburn, Minnesota; sisters, Evangeline Barber and her husband, Wayne, of rural Sherburn, Minnesota and Esther O'Sell of Chaska, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kittleson of Sun City, Arizona and Eleanor Kittleson of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Wilma Lomastro of Fairmont, Minnesota and Carmen, Ruth Spaeth and her husband, Oliver, of Corvallis, Oregon, Dorothy Barclay and her husband, Jack, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mary Ann Mallack and her husband, Bernie, of Little Falls, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, son, Douglas; grandson, Andrew; father and mother-in-law, Herman and Ida Scholl; brothers, Herbert and Gilbert; sisters, Francis, Nina and Fern and other relatives.
