Sally A. Ballard, of Atlanta, 97, died July 6, 2007. Sally was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America and A.F.L.-C.I.O. Retiring in 1976, she was a seamstress at the Arrow Manufacturing Company in East Point for 46 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Ballard and her son, Michael T. Cooley. Mrs. Ballard is survived by her four grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point.
