Cecil D. Gowan, age 85 , was born and raised in Del Rio, TN. Most of his life was spent gardening, which was his passion and repairing any kind of small engines. He worked at Stanberry’s Machine for over 30 years, then at Brockwell Construction Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet; parents Will and Emma Gowan; sister Mollie Hux; and brother Floyd Gowan. He is survived by his daughter, Joetta Atwell; sons Bobby Gowan and Micheal Gowan; special little sister Ruth Maloy; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren
