Thomas Byers Bond


Thomas Byers Bond, 78, of Carrollton, died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired employee for Kentucky Utilities Co. and a member of St. John Catholic Church, Carrollton, and Carrollton Moose Lodge.

His wife, Mildred Hill Bond, died in 1994. Survivors include daughters, Carolyn J. Bond and Patricia A. Bond, both of Louisville, and Mary Beth Smith of Basking Ridge, N. J.; sons, Thomas B. Bond Jr. and James E. Bond, both of Louisville; and 11 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Carrollton. Memorials are suggested to The March of Dimes, in care of the funeral home.
