Edward Jessop
Edward (Ted) Jessop, 77, of 3650 Gramercy Ave., died yesterday
at his home.
Mr. Jessop had been employed as an electrician by the Utah
Power and Light Co., retiring in 1946.
He was an active member of Weber Lodge 6, F and AM.
On Nov. 13, 1905, he married Aeolia Baxter in Ogden. She died July 6, 1921.
He was born Dec. 11, 1877, in Preston, Idaho, a son of Edward and Mary R. Perry Jessop.
Surviving are three sons and three daughters: Joseph Edward (Ted) Jessop and William Howard Jessop, Mrs. Clyde (Edith) Barton, Mrs. John W. (Mary) Vest and Mrs. John T. (Julia) Hardman, Ogden; George B. Jessop, Downey, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, four great - grandchildren, one brother: Willard Jessop, Ogden, and two sisters: Mrs. Rhoby J. Roberts, National City, Calif., and Mrs. Paul C. (Lucy) Burdick, Long Beach, Calif.
Public Masonic funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at
1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd., William F. Davis, worshipful master of Weber Lodge 6, F and AM, officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until services. Interment will be in Ogden City cemetery.
