Ruby and Joseph had 13 children- 2 died in infancy, 58 grandchildren and 78 great grandchildren.
Quote; "My grandmother, Ruby Gay Benner, told me that the Benners arrived in this country from Switzerland. They settled first in York County, Pennsylvania in Dutch Quaker country. The family moved to Trumbull County Ohio and then to Bennertown near Parker City, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania."
Ruby is buried in the GAR Cemetery in Parker and she has no headstone either..
