Patricia “Patty” Redmond Crabtree, age 84, passed away on May 8, 2015. She was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, The Meigs Historical Society and Upper Concord Homes Demonstration Club. She was a substitute teacher at the Ten Mile Elementary School.
She is proceeded in by her parents: John and Catherine Ward Redmond
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Ray Crabtree, Daughter: Marcella Kay Crabtree, Son: Richard “Rick” Crabtree, all of Ten Mile, Brother: Gid and Connie Redmond, of Ten Mile, Aunt: Nellie Ward, of Sweetwater, Special friends: Bobby and Sarah Dennis, Speical Nephew and wife, J.C. and Diane Crabtree, Jr., Foster Children: Brian Ayers of Tellico Plains, Scott Ayers of Ten Mile, Stacy Tallent of Ten Mile, several nieces, nephews and cousin.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev. Victor Abernathy. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00P.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Mt. Zion Church with Rev. David Largen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater is in charge of all arrangements
