He was born June 2, 1933 in Crafton, PA, the son of the late Edward Paul Dyer, Sr. and Jennie (Miklaucic) Dyer.
Paul was a member of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, Jefferson Grange and Moraine Blazing Stars Camping Club. He enjoyed camping, photography and square dancing. He had worked for Kellogg American in Oakmont.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Sherry (Ken) Kaib of Valencia and Carol (Scott) Jamison of Evans City; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Perry of Brookville, Alison (Fred) Pfeifer of Butler, Kim (Bill) Minto of Butler and Amanda and Ben Jamison of Evans City; 7 great-grandchildren, Conner and Quinton Perry, Abbygail and Wyatt Pfeifer and Billy, Blake and Camden Minto; 2 sisters, Alberta Hoos of Florida and Dolores Bingham of Saxonburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Dyer who died October 9, 2012, 2 brothers, Edward Miklaucic and William Dyer.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
Services will be held at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Rd., Valencia, 16059 on Monday, May 11th at 1PM with his pastor, Rev. Greg Wiest officiating.
Interment in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
