At the home of the bride's parent's at 532 West Seventh street, at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon occurred the marriage of Mrs. Lutie Louisa Beiderbecke to Major Carl Von Binzer. The ceremony was preformed by Rev. Arthur M. Judy of the Unitarian church. None but the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. The ceremony was a simple one and was preformed in the spacious parlors of the Beiderbecke home in the midst of flowers and palms. The bride was attired in a gown of cream colored satin and carried roses. Shortly after the vows were pronounced the happy couple were driven to the C. R. I. & P. depot in Rock Island, where they boarded the 6:15 train for the south where they will spend a honeymoon of several weeks duration. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beiderbecke and one of Davenport's accomplished young ladies. The city has always been her home and her friends who are numbered by the score join with those present at the ceremony in extending their congratulations and hopes for the future. Mr. Von Binzer is a talented gentleman well known here from his connection with the Kemper hall several years ago, where he was military instructor. He has served with great credit in the German army, as well as in her majesty's service. At the present he is commandant at the Western Military academy at Upper Alton, Ill., wherehimself and bride will make their home. Among the many handsome presents received by the couple was number of valuable articles from Mr. Von Binzer's parents and relatives in Germany. Many of these gifts have been in the Von Binzer family for many generations and are doubly prized on that account. After the ceremony came a social evening at which Petersen's orchestra entertained.
