Daisy Darlene (Brunner) Sayles, 95, passed away on May 6, 2015, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
She was born in Amazonia, Mo., on April 20, 1920, to Gottifred and Elsa (Bezonia) Brunner.
She married Ralph Sayles on January 2, 1945, in Troy Kan., and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1990.
Daisy was a homemaker who loved her children and family dinners. She was very involved at The Andrew County Senior Center. She enjoyed dancing and playing pitch.
She is survived by: three daughters, Joyce Benight, of Faucett, Mo., Janet and J.B. Phillippe, of Savannah, Mo., and Jacqueline and Benjamin Boyer, of Savannah; six grandchildren, Kim and Cindy Kennedy, Kelli and Sean Nelson, Ryan and Raychel Phillippe, Sarah Pedersen, Shaundrea Boyer, Slater Boyer; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sister and brother-in-law, Susanna and Herman Siddens; and son-in-law, Gus Benight.
Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah.
Public visitation and family receiving hours will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery.
