Mrs. Vera Carrington, 72 of 3362 Crites, died Sunday afternoon ( 11 Sept. 1955) in a hospital. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee, and had been a Fort Worth resident about 24 years. Mrs. Carrington was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are two sons, H.C .Carrington of Houston and R. H. Carrington of Macon, Georgia; eight daughters, Mrs. L.C. Holcombe, Mrs. D.H. Gaines,Mrs. W.J. Peterson, Mrs. H.J. Gordon and Mrs. D.P. Reardon of California,Mrs. P.K. Lee of Houston,and Mrs. T.R. Sanders and Mrs. J. I. Fisher of Fort Worth; two brothers, J. H. and W.A. Hazlewood of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Edwin Robinson of Beaumont; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
