A Catholic service for Gordon Lee Lambert Sr, 89, of Willows, California, will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015; the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. and the Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 1129 W. Wood Street in Willows, California.
Gordon passed away on May 2, 2015 at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California. He was born on March 1, 1926 in Capella, California to John and Nevada Lambert.
He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for thirty-nine years as a foreman and technician at a Foremost Foods; a milk processing plant.
Gordon is survived by his children, Gordon (Cindy) Lambert Jr, Patricia Bayer, Malinda Coffman and Robert Lambert; brothers, Leonard (Jackie) Lambert, William (Nelda) Lambert and Charles Lambert; sister, Wilda Orchund; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lila Lambert in 2009 and by his daughter, Theresa Lambert in 2002.
A private inurnment will take place at Willows Cemetery.
