Charles E. Dill, 67, 113 S. Adams, diamond sawyer in local stone mills, died Friday night at Robert Long hospital, Indianapolis.

He was a member of the Mill Workers union.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Dill; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Murphy, Sanford, Fla., and Ellen Dill at home; five stepsons, William Bennett, Bloomington, Arthur Bennett, Orange, Texas, Thomas Lee Bennett, U. S. Navy and Charles Edward Bennett at home; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Ivan Hacker, Bloomington, Mrs. Charles Dorsett, Ft. Wayne, Mrs. Roger Lott, Pasedena, Texas; and Marthann Bennett at home; two half-brothers, Barton and George E. Clarke, Columbus, Indiana; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 10 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home with Rev. C. G. Bohannan officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be Walter Bell, Charles Humphrey, Gilbert Richard, William and Robert May.

Flowerbearers will be Evelyn Bell, Minnie Vanetten[,] Lois Treadway, Ruby Burris, Ethel Wiley, Gayle Humphrey, Marjorie Burris, Wilma Flynn and Mrs. Robert May.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Hannum, Louis Blottie, Robert McBride, Dean May, Jack Ferguson, and Carl Johnson.
