Joseph Levinger, 78, of Springfield, died yesterday (April 13, 1957) at this home following a long illness. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and a retired employe of the Illinois Supreme Court building, where he was on the custodial and elevator force for 25 years, retiring in 1949. Surviving are his wife, Bertha M. and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Pilcher, of Springfield.
Remains are at the Bisch Memorial Home. Burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
