Ida married Arthur C. Bloomfield on Oct. 22, 1883 in Hastings, NE. She died at her home, 4 miles east of Kearney, NE. She was the mother to 12 children. She was preceded in death by 2 sons and 3 daughters. She was survived by her husband and children, David, Clarence, Edward, Mary, Leroy, Harold and Mabel.

Ida B. Cox was born in Illinois not far from West Lebanon, In. on October 14, 1858, died April 5, 1919. Aged 80 years, 5 months and 21 days. She was married to Arthur C. Bloomfield October 22, 1883 at Hastings, Nebraska, residing in Kearney county for a number of years, then moving to Illinois for a few years, but the greater part of her married life was spent in Nebraska, living at the time of her death four miles east of Kearney.
To this union twelve children were born, seven sons and five daughters, two sons and three daughters having proceeded her to the other shore. The children living are, David L., of Miller, Nebr., Clarence E. of Kearney, Nebr., Edward L. in US. Service, Mary M. Wood of San Pedro, Cal., Leroy of San Pedro, Cal., Harold S. and Mabel at home.
She never united with any church organization, but held to the Christian church, living a clean Christian life. She was active in all work toward relieving suffering and distress and she was especially devoted to and worked for the interest and good of her own family, always willing and doing more than her share.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her devoted husband, four sisters, three brothers, and the above named children, with a host of friends.
Interment was made in the Liberty cemetery, Kearney County, Nebraska
