Willis married 1st on 4 May or 05 Apr 1866 to Sarah Lou Powell Sexton. She had one child of previous marriage of James Frank "Jim" Sexton. Together she and Willis had three children, Mary "Lou" Allen Barnes, William W. Allen and Sarah C. Allen Kilgore. Sarah C. Allen died before 1878.

Willis married 2nd on 12 May 1878 to Eliza "Jane" Glass Gibson. She had two children of James H. and Nathan G. Gibson from a previous marriage 31 May 1865 to George A. Gibson. Together she and Willis Allen had five children, Nancy Violiole Allen, Jackson Cansler Allen, Armintie "Bertie" Allen Shaver, Lillie Allen, and Nicie A. Allen Giles. Eliza "Jane" Allen died before 1897 and is buried in the Old Stateline Cem, Bossier Par, LA. She is often confused with Willis' half sister Elizabeth Jane Allen Powell b. ca 1856 in LA . Also, she is not daughter of Wm Gideon and Charlotte C. Powell and sister to Sarah Lou Powell Sexton (1st wife of Willis Allen). See 21 June 1880 Twp 23 Dist 9 Bossier Par. Willis married 3rd on 16 Dec 1896 to Rebecca Elizabeth "Beckie" Shaver Garrett. She had two children of previous marriage of Alice and Jeff Garrett. Together she and Willis had five children, Millie F., Nora C., Nodie, Tommie, Henry Coon Allen. Nodie died 1912. Rebecca Elizabeth "Beckie" Allen died 17 Aug 1942 and is buried in the Old Stateline Cem, Bossier Par, LA.
