Death of Mrs. C. O. Sims
at Nashville -- Interment
at Quincy.
Mrs. C. O. Sims, nee Miss Anna Combs, formerly of this city, died at Nashville,
Tenn., Tuesday night, and the remains will arrive here this noon for interment in
Woodland cemetery. Her brother, S. P. Combs, of Trenton, Mo., connected with the
Rock Island railroad, arrived in the city last night to perfect the arrangements for
the funeral.
Mrs. Sims left here about twelve years ago with her husband for the south, where he
was engaged in railroading. She was 36 years of age. Her father and mother, who came
here in the early sixties, are buried at Woodland, and it was her expressed desire
to be placed with them.
Besides the husband and brother, a sister, Mrs. Mary Macarier, of Baltimore, survives.
