Mrs Speaks, wife of the late Hamilton Green Speaks, died Friday, May 20, 1994. Born in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Laurie Isaac and Ida Folk Richardson. She was a member of Fairfax First Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Mary Speaks Humphries of Columbia and Marsha Speaks Sellers of Olar; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
