Jack Junior Alberts, our dear father, grandfather, brother and friend, returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father on April 25, 2015.
Jack was born November 15, 1932, in Ogden, Utah, to John and Alida Alberts. He graduated from BYU with a B.S. degree in Accounting. Jack worked 42 years for the Bank of Utah, Jack married his sweetheart, Janice, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 12, 1959.
Jack is remembered by family and friends as a patient, kind and gentle man. He loved people and he loved the Lord.
Viewings will be held Friday, May 1st, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary. 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah and Saturday, May 2nd, 9:40 - 10:40 a.m. at the Roy 7th Ward LDS Chapel 4900 S. 2000 W. in Roy, Utah. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., May 2nd, at the Roy 7th Ward LDS Chapel.
Family expresses gratitude to the personnel at Silverado Hospice, Caregivers Support Network, and Beehive Senior Care for their kindness and care. It is suggested that donations to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints general missionary fund be made in lieu of flowers.
