Alice P. Banh, 76, of Stockton died Tuesday at home. She was born in Chi Bi, China, and lived in various cities in China before moving to Saigon in 1947. Banh moved to Stockton in 1975 before moving to Los Angeles in 1979. She moved back to Stockton in 1985. Banh worked as a reporter for United Overseas Chinese Daily. She was also editor for Saigon Women’s Daily and worked at the Saigon Bureau of the French News Service, Chinese Division. Banh wrote articles for Guang Xi Women’s Magazine, United Overseas Chinese Daily, Women’s Daily of Saigon and the World Journal of San Francisco. She was a member of Stockton Chinese Church and Jene Wah Association.

Survivors: husband, Keith Banh of Stockton; children, Peter Pung of Newark, Nathaniel Banh of Santa Clara, Sonja Chan of Stockton, My Yee of Union City and Paul Banh of Fremont; siblings, Jackie Shih of Rosemead and Yuk Lan Wong of Australia; and six grandchildren,

Services: evening service, 6 p.m. Saturday, DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St.; funeral, 2 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Memorials: Stockton Chinese Church, 3645 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95204; or Jene Wah Inc., 238 E. Church St., Stockton, CA 95203.
