Passes Away at the Family Residence
on Tuesday After a Long Illness.

Mrs. Henry F. Simplot, aged 45 years, passed away at the family residence on Chestnut Street at 12:30 today after a lingering illness. Deceased had been a resident for the past twenty years and was a woman admired for her nobility of character and devotion to her home. After the long illness which tested to the utmost her patience and strength, she passed from her suffering mourned by all who knew her.

Mrs. Simplot is survived by her husband and three children. Grace, Edna and Arthur, by her mother, Mrs. Christine Wickler, of Scales Mound, her brothers, Valentine of Freeport, John of Galena, Adam of Warren, Henry of Itasca, Wis., Fred of Red Rock, Wis., and her sisters, Mrs. F. L. Duer, of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Geo. Marsh of Scales Mound.
Mrs. Simplot was born May 30, 1857 in Scales Mound and married May 8, 1883 in the same city.

Her maiden name was Anna Catherine Wickler.
