Mrs. James A. Rice was called to Booneville Monday by telephone on account of the serious illness of her sister, Mrs. Latimer*, who lives there. Later - The news comes that her sister died before Mrs. Rice arrived at her bedside.
The above no doubt refers to Mrs. M.G. Latimer, who will be remembered by a number of Springdale people as Miss Edna Winton, daughter of the late James Winton of Pea Ridge, Benton County. The deceased and her husband were formerly well known in Springdale, having resided here a number of years ago.
