"Dee Dee" suffered the effects of Cerebral Palsy and succumbed to complications of pneumonia at the age of 3 yr 3 mo 20 days, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.

She was much loved by her family.

Surviving her, were her parents, Earl Henry and Wanella (Callihan) Endicott, her half siblings, Melvin "Shorty" and Vergil Endicott, Alyce "Babe" (Endicott) Waters, Carolyn Sue (Endicott) Grimes: Brothers and sisters; Edward Rae, Terry Neal, Gayle Ann, Lonny Joe, Brian Earl and Timothy Dean Endicott.

Burial was held on March 11, 1965, on a crisp, but not bitter cold day.

Pallbearers were 12 year old:
Loretta Ann Willis
Paula Kay Brotherton
Jean Ellen Wheeler
Patricia Fecher

These 4 girls carried her little casket the full length of the cemetery, from the church (then standing, but with services no longer held there) to the family plot, at the most southwestern part of the cemetery. Each of the girls wore black skirts and white ruffled long sleeve blouses.
