Typhena Nancy Foster, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was of the Christian Faith, member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and retired from St. Mary's Hospital.

She is preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Virginia Turner; siblings, Vaughn Turner, Robert Turner, and Juanita Key. She is survived by son, Sonny Foster and wife, Debbie; daughter, Nancy Wilson and husband, Deon; grandchildren, Alex and Aaron Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 6:00 p.m., with Rev. Ritchie Turner officiating. Family and friends will meet at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, Sunday at 1:15 p.m. and proceed in procession to Bookwalter Cemetery for an 2:00 p.m. interment service.
