Adrin Octabia Straughter was born to Sandra Straughter Mobley and Oliver Monroe (Quatialia) on September 24, 1977, in Valdosta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his loving grandfather John Lee Straughter and his brother Markell Monroe

Adrin met the love of his life, Jennifer Straughter in Valdosta, Georgia and they married in 2008. Adrin was a devoted son, husband and father. He was loved by all!

Adrin attended Valdosta High School where he played football under the legendary coach, Nick Hyder. He was one of the captains of his football team, a member of the drum line and a member of the Concert Chorus. He was also a wrestler in Valdosta Junior High School. Adrin was a territory sales manager for GF Health Products for nine years. He graduated from Valdosta High School in 1996 and continued to hold his beloved football team, The Valdosta Wildcats, close to his heart

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 7 years, Jennifer Straughter; his only child, Michael C. Straughter; his loving mother, Sandra Mobley (Wilbert); his father, Oliver Monroe (Quatialia), his adoring grandmothers, Irine Straughter and Carrie Monroe; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services: Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1051 Howell Road in Valdosta, GA. The Pastor is Rev. William C. Morgan and the eulogist for the day will be Rev. Delvin Boatman.

Burial: Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Valdosta.
