Sister M Everildis, OSF

Sister M Everildis, 67, of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Motherhouse.
Sister M. Everildis, nee Laura Kunz, was born in Fredericksburg, Tex., and pronounced her religious vows in 1921. She worked in the kitchen of St. John's Hospital from 1920 to 1930 and was assigned lighter duties in the convent in 1940, due to failing health. Since 1951, she has been a patient in Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, St. Francis Convent.
Surviving her are one brother, Clemens J. Kunz, and one sister, Matilda DeLong, both of Decatur.
Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis of Assisi Church at the Motherhouse. Burial will be in Crucifixion Hill Cemetery.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
