Married A. Lorraine Comer in Peru, Indiana, February 14, 1948. A farmer. Member of Wabash Zion Lutheran Church. He co-founded the Roann Little League program. He was a Wabash County commissioner from 1980-84. He drove a school bus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Ahlfeld, and one sister, Martha Moon.
Funeral services was Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service,Pastor Jeremy Yeadon officiated. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery.
