Brown, Josephine “Jo”, played her last trick and won the bridge hand on December 14, 2008 when she passed away. She was born on January 11, 1918 to Dennis and Molly O’Hare of Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband Hilton J. “Jack” Brown and an infant son, Joseph. She will be missed by her children Michael (Traci) Brown of Derby Kansas; Vicki (Finas) Skeers of Tenino, WA; Bob (Debby) Brown of Wichita and her nine grandchildren. She left behind many friends and acquaintances from 60 years in Wichita and over 50 years of managing “Jack" Brown and Associates.

A celebration of her wonderful life as a believer in Christ, her love of family and friends will begin with a rosary at 6:00 PM December 18 and a funeral mass at 10:30 AM December 19. Both will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Catholic Charities, 532 N. Broadway, Wichita 67214. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East.
