Hazleton Plain Speaker; Saturday, May 7, 1955:
Mrs. Alma Ruth (nee Andreas) Skinner, wife of Gerald K. Skinner, 319 East Chestnut street, died last night at 9:30 o'clock at the State Hospital. She had been ill for the past five months. The deceased was born in West Hazleton, the daughter of the late William B. Andreas and Anna Lapp Andreas. She resided her entire life in the Hazleton area. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Business Girls Club of the Y.W.C.A., and the Dr. Esterly Sunday School Class of the Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters: Carol and Gail, both at home. Her mother and one sister Mrs. Clarence G. Baker of this city also survive.

The funeral will be held Monday, 2 p.m. from the Grebey Funeral Home with Rev. Allen H. Roth officiating. Interment will be in the Vine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
