NOEL Rita P., 95, Nicktown, passed away April 29, 2015, at home. Born Feb. 12, 1920, in Barr Township, the last surviving member of the late William and Frances (Parrish) Natcher family. Preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters; loving husband, Leonard J. Noel, to whom she was married 39 years when he died Dec. 14, 1983; an infant son; daughters, Dorothy and Lois; son, Joseph Noel; grandson, Michael Rinker; and great-granddaughter, Angela Claypole. Survived by children, William, married to Mary Brant, Illinois; Karen, wife of Edwin Westrick, Ebensburg; Cecelia, wife of Patrick Beaty, W.Va.; and Ella Flick, Erie; Andrew, married to Diane Rinker, Mount Union; Stephen, married to Angela Kirsch, Wexford; Robert, married to Maria Dumm, Nicktown; daughter-in-law, Donna Driskel, Nicktown; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Legion of Mary and Altar & Rosary Society. Rita served as head cook at St. Nicholas church hall for many years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and time spent with her family. Member of Nicktown Fire Company ladies auxiliary. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Father Michael Gabler, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's memory to charity of choice.
