Shirley A. Goodwin, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at St. Clare Home in Peoria Heights.

Mrs. Goodwin was born Sept. 26, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of August and Evelyn Fritsch Hatton. She married Howard Goodwin on July 27, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy (Robert) Everett; a son, Ronnie (Robbie) Goodwin; a brother, Leonard (Janet) Hatton; and a sister, Carole (Al) Reeves.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
