2 Mar 1959: Mrs. Rosie Antal, a Lebanon resident for the past 47 years, died at 4:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the West Reading Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. She was aged 74 and had been in ill health for the past year. A native of Hungary, she resided in Lebanon since coming to the United States. Her husband, the late Joseph Antal, was employed by the former Wrought Iron Company, now the site of Brightbill Body Works on East Cumberland Street. She was a member of St. Gertrude Church and her hobby was flower gardening at her residence in the east end of Lebanon. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Rose M. Tari, 646 Locust Street, with whom she resided; and a son, Joseph M. Antal, of Point Pleasant, WV; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her family. Interment to be in St. Gertrude Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
