Ruth West
New London -- Mrs. Ruth Allyn MacDougall West, 40, of 39 Berkeley Avenue, died unexpectedly this morning at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 28, 1928 in New London, the daughter of Mrs. Esther M. Maynard MacDougall and the late George MacDougall. She was a plant equipment clerk at Southern New England Telephone Co. and had worked Monday.
Mrs. West was a graduate of the former Chapman Technical High School and a member of the Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother of New London, she is survived by her husband Dan E. West; a son Timothy D. and a daughter, Linda J. West, both of New London, and a sister Mrs. Rudolph S. Gramolini of New London.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Alderson-Prentis Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
