Funeral services for Mr. Edward P. Grantham will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 in Glenmora Church of Christ, with Brother Justin Simmons officiating.
Interment will follow in McCormick Cemetery, Turkey Creek, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Grantham, 93, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Monday, April 27, 2015 in the V.A. Medical Center, Alexandria.
Mr. Grantham was a lifelong member of the Glenmora Church of Christ a U.S. Army Vet and Purple Heart recipient of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ludie Grantham; his son, Bobby Joe Peterson; one brother, Eli Grantham and his sister, Ida Bell Johnson.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty four years, Mamie J. Grantham of Glenmora; his daughter, Elizabeth Bailey-Paul and her husband Larry of Oakdale; one grandchild, Mark Kendall Bailey of Oklahoma City, OK and one great grandchild, Bryce Kendall Bailey of Oklahoma City, OK.
