born to Edward and Barb (Maxstadt); married Ralph; children Barb, Bern, and Ralph∼Cecelia Abens, 91, of Hinckley, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born September 16, 1923 in Aurora, IL. Cecelia was a lifelong Aurora resident who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Barb (Pat) Pierce, Bern and Ralph; her grandchildren: Patrick (Kristen) Barrett, Colleen (Chris) Parks, Shannon (Sean) Mangan, and Josh and Jeremiah Abens; and her great grandchildren: Jessica and Katlynn Parks, Barrett, Peytan and Deklan Mangan, and Gwen Barrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Abens; and by her parents, Edward and Barbara (Maxstadt) Millim. Cecelia's family would like to thank KishHealth System Hospice for their compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 8S055 Dugan Road, Sugar Grove, IL. Fr. Robert Jones will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a Liturgical Wake Service at 6:30 PM, at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.
