Age 87, the second son of five to Charles and Clara Frey.

He was a 1946 graduate from Rice Avenue Union High School, Girard, Pa. Bob, who had a passion for farming, owned and operated Valley View Dairy in East Springfield, Pa. until 1965, when after a serious bout with cancer, he moved to Venice Gardens in Venice, Florida. He went from being a dairy farmer to owning and operating Savemore Furniture & Appliances in South Venice. He was a founding member of the Venice High School Booster Club, a member of the Elks and Optimists, serving as president for each.

Bob married the love of his life Esther Kmecik on June 11, 1949 and shared 57+ wonderful years, until her death in 2007. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers James, Lawrence and Howard.

He leaves behind his daughter Becky (Rick) Robertson of Sandy Springs, Ga., son Bob (Debbie) of Brentwood, Tenn., son Gary of Venice, Fla., daughter Gail of Tallahassee, Fla., grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Jack (Shirley) of Wilmimgton, N.C., sisters-in-law Darlene (Butch) Marshall of Stuart, Fla., Betty Frey of Erie, Pa. and Marie Frey of Girard, Pa., and a host of nieces and nephews.
