Luther Earl Blankenship, 82, of Albuquerque, N.M., died March 18, 2015, in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1932, in Laclede County, Mo. to William Herbert and Ada Mariah West Blankenship, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
He married Helen Marie Buttram.
Survivors include a son, Steve Blankenship, of the state of California, and one daughter, Sharon Blankenship, of Albuquerque, N.M.
A graveside service and burial for Luther Earl Blankenship will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Mount Rose Memorial Park with Bruce Blankenship officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
