Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Santo and Angelina (Migoli) Crucitti.
Martin was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and served in the European theater. He was a recipient of the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and three Purple Hearts.
Martin was a sheet metal worker for J and K, Northern Steel and Sheet Metal Workers 158.
He was an Oswego Speedway Hall of Fame inductee racecar owner, builder and driver of No. 11. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, the outdoors and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Smith) Crucitti; one daughter, Angela (Angelo) Ferlito, of Oswego; four sons, Thomas (Lois), of Connecticut, Michael (Carol), of Oswego, Martin "Rusty" S. (Linda), of North Carolina, and Rocky (Sandra), of Oswego; one sister, Carmela Sverchek, of Connecticut; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Kenneth; three sisters, Frances Kostek, Mary Rose Magnero and Rose Parkington; and his godmother, Archangela Bria.
