Jackie Lee Brown 73, of Jacksonville died Friday, May 9, 2003 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born July 26,1929, in Jacksonville, the son of Stanley and Geraldine Cannon Brown. He married Lela Mae Franklin in 1952 in Pocahontas,Ark. Mr. Brown retired from Kraft Foods in 1992. He was a member of Our RedeemerLutheran Church and Starlite Camper Club. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as a hospital corpsman. Survivors: wife,Lela Mae:four sons, Terrance (wife, Pamela)Brown of Jacksonville,Theodore (wife,Tracy)Brown of McDonough,Ga and Timothy and Christoper (wife, Tammy) Brown,both of Jacksonville: four daughters, Jacqueline (husband Kevin Miller)of Jacksonville,Kara (husband Mark) Phillips of Williamsville, Janice(husband,Rick)Carmen of Monroe City,Mo. and Richella(husband,Scott)Hotard of Norfolk,Va: 33 grandchilden:13 great grandchildren:mother ,Geraldine Brown of Jacksonville:three sisters,Patricia Ann (husband,Francis) Taylor, Barbara Jean Hill and Elizabeth Sue Dawdy, all of Jacksonville: and several nieces adn nephews.
