Beverly Suzanne Myers was born and raised in Cambridge City, Indiana on May 14 to Albert and Ruth Fellinger along with her four siblings Jane, Joe, Bob, and Beth.

Beverly moved to Orlando in the early 60's where she took SCUBA diving lessons. There, she met and married her husband George E. (Duke) Myers Jr. Together, they raised four children, Celeste, Colleen, Clarinda, and Shawn. Beverly became a parishioner at St John Vianney Church in 1962, and in 1967 volunteered in the school office to give her children a catholic education. A year later she was hired as a full time employee and became secretary / office manager of the school. For 46 years Beverly dedicated her life to the students, parents, and Sister of St. Francis of St. John Vianney School, helping to create a loving, family school environment.

Beverly was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Miami Dolphins, the SJV Mustangs and her twelve grandchildren in various sporting events ranging from soccer, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, football, cheer leading, wrestling, ROTC, and motocross races. Beverly, best known as "Mama" to all of her grandchildren and their friends, attended every event she could possibly make to support her children and grandkids, including flying half way across the United States to cheer them on! Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she was theirs.

One of the main characteristics that everyone will remember about Beverly is her fantastic sense of humor. If you didn't receive a "zinger" card from Beverly, you missed out! She would spend hours in card shops looking for "just the right card" for each individual! She could always take a bad situation and put a fun, positive spin on it. Even during the rough times at the end of her battle against cancer, she would make comments that brought laughter and smiles to a terrible situation.

Beverly lost her battle against cancer on Oct. 7, 2013. Her smile, laughter, love and support will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and SJV family.

Beverly is survived by her four siblings, her four children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
