Robert D. McConkey, 83, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1993, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Sept. 10, 1910, in Mackinaw to Walter A. and Lilly E. Kelley McConkey, he married Ann A. Dietrich on Dec. 13, 1930, in Valparaiso, Ind. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Roy Dale and Robert G. Jr.; and two brothers, Daniel R. and James W. Two brothers preceded him in death.
He owned and operated Robert McConkey & Son Construction Co.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
