William R. SHEEN was born on December 4, 1847, in Monmouthshire, Wales, his father, Roderick, was 46 and his mother, Margaret/Mary, was 42. He first married Jemimah Thomas and they had five children together. She died in April 1886 according to his 2nd marriage license. More research is needed to substantiate her death information and where she is buried. He then married Emma Watkins Merritt on November 17, 1891. Emma's death certificate lists her father as Isaac Merritt. Willian Sheen died on August 27, 1924, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, at the age of 76, and is buried in the Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville, Pennsylvania.
