He was the son of Tilman "Tim" R. and Jean C. (Sneeringer) Laughman of Bonneauville.
Joe was employed with Overland Contracting, Inc. of Baltimore as an on-site supervisor. He attended Littlestown School District where he was a wrestler for 13 years and a member of the Boy Scout Troop Pack 77 for 10 years. Joe was a proud and loyal Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Alyssa Elaine Laughman of Bonneauville; one sister, Maggie Mae, his twin brother, Adam Robert, and brother Curtis James, all of Gettysburg; maternal grandmother, Jean M. Sneeringer of Hanover; paternal grandmother, Edna Small of York Springs; his godchild and nephew, Maurice James Laughman; his niece, Mia Marie Laughman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Edward Sneeringer; paternal grandfather, Charles Edward Laughman; and loving uncle, Maurice "Uncle Poncho" Laughman.
