John T. 'Jack' Barry, 63, died Jan. 6 of cancer. He lived in New Berlin for more than 28 years. Mr. Barry was a steel buyer at Envirex Inc. for 23 years. He belonged to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and enjoyed bicycling, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Imelda 'Mel" (nee Mueller), two sons, James J. Barry, Ph.D. of Hanover, N.H., and Michael G. Barry, M.D. of Sells, Ariz.; a grandson, Jason; four siblings, Lee McGrew of New Hartford, N.Y., Mary Elizabeth Hauck of Alpharetta, Ga., and Patricia Carney and Joan Pupa, both of Utica, N.Y. He was preceded In death by his parents, James and Mary; a brother,James; and a sister, Terry.
Mass was celebrated Wed. Jan. 10 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 12700 W. Howard Ave. by the Rev. Mike Ignaszak. Burial was in St. Anna Cemetery, New Holstein, Wis. Krause Funeral Home 12401 W. National/Oklahoma handled the arrangements. The family suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society or VNA Community Hospice.
