Services have been set for Chelsea Ellen Bruck, age 22 of Maybee, Michigan. Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Divine Grace Parish (St. Joseph Church), Maybee. Reverend John Dumas will officiate. Following the Mass, Chelsea will be laid to rest at the church cemetery, St. Joseph in Maybee.

Born January 28, 1992 in Trenton, she is the daughter of Matthew and Leannda (Brant) Bruck. She attended St. Patrick Elementary School and Monroe High School.

As a hostess, she was employed by Olga’s Kitchen at the Mall of Monroe for four years. Her favorite pastimes included: watching movies, especially musicals; listening to music, of which Queen was her favorite band; enjoyed playing videogames, including Final Fantasy VIII; and her favorite television show, Doctor Who. She also enjoyed reading and baking, and had a special love for her dog and cats. She was raised very close to her siblings and loved being a part of the “Bruck girls.”

Chelsea is survived by her parents, Matthew and Leannda of Maybee; a brother, Nathaniel (Tanya) Bruck of Colchester, Connecticut; three sisters, Jennifer (fiancé Travis Moore) Bruck of Flagstaff, Arizona, Megan Bruck of Monroe, and Kassandra (Michael) Rinne of Monroe; grandparents, Carl and Janet (Liedel) Brant of Mancelona, Michigan; and niece, Anna Bruck. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Chelsea’s passing was preceded by her grandparents, Matthew and Marian (Reaume) Bruck, and an aunt, Linda (Bruck) Gonyea and a cousin, Ryan Matthew Bruck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s School, Divine Grace Parish, Carleton or University of Michigan C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital, Ann Arbor donation may be made through this link victors.us/chelseabruck.

Chelsea was a beautiful girl who disappeared after attending a Halloween Party that several hundred people attended. Her body was found 6 months after she disappeared. Chelsea was the victim of a homicide
