Dewey Edwin Lamberth, 83, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. The Rev. Craig Holmes will officiate. Visitation and a reception will be held from 3 – 5 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. They may be contacted at the residence of Eddie Lamberth.

While flowers are appreciated, memorial gifts may be made to Gilead Baptist Church, 4800 Ivey Drive, Macon 31206.

Mr. Lamberth, son of the late Dock Lamberth and Minnie Lee Hayes Lamberth, was born in Dooling, GA. He served with the U. S. Army and was Yard Master retired after more than thirty-eight years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of Gilead Baptist Church and was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors include those he loved most, his wife Linda Pierce Lamberth; his children, Debby (Dennis) LTC (Ret.) Schrecengast and Eddie Lamberth; three grandchildren, Petty Officer III Class Pierce Schrecengast, Kaley Schrecengast and Joshua (Janie) Lamberth and a number of nieces and nephews.

Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
