During her young years, she was a factory worker in Michigan. She loved music and cooking, especially holiday meals for family. Mrs. Martin loved her family, and her farm in Elgin was a house full of love. She was a humble, strong woman, who never gave up. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Langdon Martin; two brothers; four sisters; and her parents.
Mrs. Martin is survived by two sons, David Martin and wife, Kim, of Oklahoma, and Teddy Martin of Elgin Community; two sisters, Linda Allen and husband, Don of Alma and Nina Wooten of Newport; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cheshier Cemetery.
